What facilities do we provide?
In The Courtyard, we have a Coffee Shop and a Restaurant. Our Coffee Shop is open from 9am-5pm every day. The only exceptions to opening, is Christmas Day (25th December), Boxing Day (26th December), and New Year’s Day (1st January). Don’t fancy cooking? Our Holiday Park in Yorkshire is perfect and suites all of your needs. You can take a short walk from your holiday home to our restaurant and enjoy a delicious meal cooked by our own chefs. Our cafe provides refreshing coffee and tea for all, as well as a selection of sweet treats including cakes, biscuits and scones. As well as the Coffee Shop, our restaurant serves high quality, freshly prepared food with a wide selection of drinks alongside. And if you’re looking for a little celebration, we have a wide variety of alcoholic drinks available as well!
After you’ve enjoyed some refreshments, you can browse our exclusive gift shop. If you’re looking for a souvenir, our gifts and cards are high quality as well as some gifts being handmade, giving it that personal touch. Greetings cards can be purchased to give your family a loving message.
Not only are your local to historic market towns where you can pick up your essentials, but we have our very own Farm Shop onsite. From fresh meat and produce, to household essentials, we have everything you need during your stay.
If you’re more of an outdoors person, we have you covered as well; not only is Thorpe Farm a scenic piece of countryside, with an abundance of green and fresh air accompanied by seating areas (indoors and outdoors) areas to enjoy the view, but our Holiday Park in Yorkshire is located between 6 different walking routes for the more adventurous. We’re more than happy to welcome all visitors/holiday homeowners to Teesdale Heritage Wood. This wood is pleasurable place to take a relaxing walk, perfect for hikers and ramblers. On a day of great weather, the views are truly unforgettable, bringing photography equipment is encouraged and recommended by our team. We have had many nature enthusiasts visit our Holiday Park in Yorkshire, and praise these woods for their undeniable charm. One of our 6 different walk routes takes you through the paddocks which house animals such as: ponies, donkeys, llamas and more! For anyone wondering, we do indeed allow visitors to bring their dogs on these walks with them, for more information on our animal tolerance in our holiday homes, please contact our team.
If you are concerned that your children may not enjoy staying in your holiday home, we have facilities which effectively appeal to them. We possess an indoor and outdoor play area for all young children, with the ability to enter the area with your children under supervision. This fun area contains an indoor soft play area for days with poor weather, and an outdoor park for those days in summer. Furthermore, we have a function room which can be hired for parties and celebrations (some events are hosted by us!). Weddings, Birthdays, and other occasions can take place here, using your decorations and ideas. Finally, for the children, you can visit Wetheriggs Animal Rescue Centre to meet some furry friends. Whether you want to feed a cow, hold a guinea pig, or just watch your children create special memories.
